Niki Dionysopoulou PhD Student

I completed my MSc in Department of Medicine, University of Thessaly, Greece. My work there broadly concerned the control of mosquitoes. For my PhD though, I changed study species from mosquitoes to a more engaging project with emphasis in a serious entomological pest, namely Ceratitis capitata. I am currently studying several factors (photoperiod, plant essential oils, cold hardening) affecting the biological traits and the development of C. capitata focusing on the plasticity of different populations.
