Mediterranean fruit fly had been the topic of my MSc study. I finished my MSc on the sexual behavior of the fruit fly Ceratitis capitata, and now in my PhD i am going to study the ecology of medfly under different stress conditions focusing on the plasticity of different populations. I have worked as a researcher in applied entomology since 2013 exploring the effect of a- pinene on the longevity of Bactocera oleae.

Also during the years 2017-2019 I have participated in a research program (Life – Biodelear) dealing with the management of fruit flies  with the implementation of precision agriculture practices as well as the mass trapping method with the use of innovative and environmental friendly attractants.
